Hello, I'm Elena

I design learning experiences that actually work for people. I help organizations build clear, scalable training by putting the learner and the customer first and using the right tools to support real business goals.

How I Lead Learning

 I approach learning design as a system, not a series of standalone deliverables. My work focuses on aligning learning strategy to business goals, structuring curriculum for scalability, and guiding contributors through clear standards and decision-making frameworks. 

What this looks like in practice:

  • Defining curriculum architecture and learning pathways aligned to role readiness and performance outcomes
  • Leading cross-functional collaboration with SMEs, stakeholders, and delivery partners
  • Establishing design standards and frameworks to ensure consistency and reuse
  • Selecting tools intentionally (Rise, Storyline, LMS, assessments) based on scale, speed, and learner needs

Why it works:

 This approach creates learning experiences that are sustainable, measurable, and built to evolve with the organization.

About Me

Background

With a foundation in both design and education, I bring a unique blend of visual storytelling, instructional design, and learning strategy to my work. I hold a BFA in Illustration from SCAD and a Master’s in Instructional Design from Georgia State University, grounding my approach in both creative problem-solving and evidence-based learning practices. This background enables me to translate complex ideas into clear, scalable learning systems.

Experience

I bring 15+ years of experience designing learning experiences,  supporting enterprise audiences across multiple teams, and leading cross-functional initiatives across complex environments. My work spans curriculum design, learning architecture, and program-level execution; where I set direction, align stakeholders, and deliver systems that support consistency, scalability, and measurable impact.
